Lilo the Dog needs a home
Lilo is 10 years old and had her whole world turned upside down when her owner passed away and she was surrendered to the Waco shelter. We opted to rescue her from euthanasia and try to get her a new home to live our her life. Even though she is 10, being a Chihuhua she still has that many remaining years plus some!
She is very timid but not aggressive when you first meet her. And she takes her own sweet time to warm up to you, even when bribed with food/treats. Lilo has adjusted well to the multitude of new foster siblings she now has to deal with. She does not have food agression and feels no others should either, she will just walk up to their bowl while they are eating and help herself!
Lilo will need someone who is patient with her. She would be a great for those living in an apartment or retirement community. We are unsure as to how she is with kids, so caution will need to be given prior to introductions. But that is the normal protocal with ANY introductions!
